An absolute delight here! We’ve been in Florence for 4 days so far, and we’ve come here twice already. Truly enjoyed the food, desserts, wine choices, & service here. Ambiance is impeccable. A shout out to the two ladies who have served us, they’re absolutely sweet and extremely accommodating.

Podere 39 is my favorite restaurant in Florence!!! So good that my sister and I came here twice in four days. I genuinely enjoyed every single dish I had. The cheese balls and ricotta pasta weren’t as heavy as I assumed it would be. I’ve never had pasta like theirs before. The flavors weren’t too overpowering and complimented each other perfectly. Above all, the desserts here are INSANE. As a huge sweet tooth, I have had a ton of tiramisu desserts. This one is by far the BEST one I have had. The cream and sponge cake were perfect consistency. Became so obsessed with it that I just had to take one tiramisu to go. (2 tiramisus to go on the second visit) On my second night here, I tried their cheesecake dessert. That was heavenly. Huge shoutout to the two ladies, especially Ginevra, who served us both nights!! Thank you for making some arrangements/accommodations to let me take home some tiramisu with me!!!
Fantastico I loved everything about this place. Beautiful, delicious food, gorgeously presented. Rustic charm. Great service. Far enough away from the inner city so that the restaurant is not full of tourists. Just have to say that the meringue dessert I had was a lesson in culinary simplicity. You crack it open….
Amazing dinner and very good service in an area off the tourist track. The day before we had eaten at another Bib in Rome and couldn’t understand how it had made the list. Podere was 10 times better and 50% less expensive. We will be talking about this amazing dinner for a long time!
We lived in Florence for 5 weeks and this is the best meal I had. It’s different than the other restaurants which is hard to find. Feels like modern Italian. Everything is extremely fresh as it’s all farm to table. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Great service and a cool space.
The best meal we had on our holiday! Beautiful, romantic setting in a flower shop. Lots of locals eating in. Amazing wine selection and great recommendations from the staff. The ingredients were all top quality and amazing flavour combinations. No English menu and weak signal just as a heads up but it was part of the experience for us!
My husband and I ate seven years ago and have not stopped talking about it since. We finally got to back this week and it lived up to all our memories. We will 100% be coming back every time we are in town as the food is amazing and the service is warm and welcoming.
